Perhaps I should expand on the original post.
Ever since I've been reading
Doug's posts over the past years he has been espousing the virtues of the Garmin products. I then made the fatal mistake of looking at his web site and things got worse.
I started reading through all the links and other bits (volumes ) of information and now I've gone out and bought a Nuvi 255w.
Now that I have it at
home and I'm sitting here looking at it I'm wondering how the hell I'm going to put all those customised POI's I've created into the damn thing.
To add to my dilemma, I now have to go out and buy Oztopo v2.1.
I anticipate a few posts will be raised by me in the near future pointed aimed at
Doug.
I'd better get back to the Nuvi.

At the moment I trying to load many thousands of POI's to the Nuvi. I have succeeded in loading the POI's but it appears as though I cannot put them into a separate category (eg Caravan parks) under the Extra's, at least I don'
t know how to yet. I am finding out if it is at all possible to do so. All part of the learning curve. Hints and clues are gratefully received. If I get really stuck I'll email you cap in hand
